Hallo, welcome to my Web Pages!

I am an artist living in Exeter, in the South-West of England, an area with a mild climate, and lovely countryside and buildings.

Here I am with our Labrador Hannah.

I have done a number of jobs in the past: cartography (in the dim distant days when this was done by hand!), book illustration, a carer in a subnormal hospital, as well as a classroom assistant in primary schools. I fitted this around caring for our two children, but now that they have left home I am much freer. I recently gave up "the day job" (as an assistant in a small school) in order to concentrate on my greatest loves, art-teaching and painting.

We have also had our "North Wing" added to our house, so that I now have a large light area to paint. I do let my husband have some of the space for his computers though! Here is a picture of my part , before I started filling it with paintings, easels and art materials!

I am currently teaching several art classes for Devon Community Education, most in the Exeter Community Centre, St. David's Hill, but also in two local schools in the evening. If you would like further details of these, then please e-mail me .
